How to Read Our Painting Project Photos
Every photo on this page comes from a real White Stone job in Northwest Indiana. We do not use stock images. We also leave out customer names and street addresses, out of respect for the people who let us into their homes and businesses. What you see is the work itself.
What Kinds of Projects You Will Find
Single rooms and full interiors. Exterior repaints on older and newer homes. Commercial spaces we painted around business hours. Decks that had gone gray and needed cleaning, sanding, and fresh stain. Some were quick refreshes in a new color. Others needed a lot of scraping, patching, and priming before any color went on at all.
What to Look For in a Before and After
Look past the color first. Check the lines where walls meet ceilings and trim, because clean, straight lines take a steady hand and good prep. Look for an even sheen across each wall, with no shiny spots where holes were patched. On trim and doors, the finish should look smooth, not lumpy or thick.
Then look hard at the before photos on exteriors and decks. Peeling paint, bare wood, and gray boards tell you how much prep the job needed. That prep is what decides whether the finish in the after photo is still holding up a few winters later.
